Special needs teaching jobs in the UK
SEN is becoming a more integral part of the UK’s education system. At Capita we have a range of contract, day-to-day, long term and supply, teaching assistants and management SEN jobs available across the UK.
We have a range of special needs teacher jobs for fully qualified teachers and experienced education professionals with particular expertise in SEN to teach students who range from having mild to severe learning difficulties and profound special needs.
Most special needs teaching jobs will require that you hold a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or a UK recognised teaching qualification, and have a relevant teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE, with the ability to teach special needs. You will have an awareness of the Every Child Matters agenda and experience of inter-agency working and working with parents, heads, SENCOs and other SEN professionals.
