School caretakers and site managers are an integral part of a school’s operation and help to ensure that students and premises are looked after and kept safe. At Capita we have a range of permanent, part-time and contract school caretaker jobs available across the UK.
Requirements for school caretakers and site managers
We are looking for individuals who have had past experience in similar roles and more particularly within educational services. You are expected to have knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental regulations (ideally be certified) and the ability to work some unsocial hours. School site managers are responsible for day-to-day management of all premises and they conduct safety inspections while providing reports for their findings. School caretakers work alongside other maintenance staff who are involved in the repair servicing and construction of a variety of fixtures and equipment within school buildings and extended grounds. We can offer school site manager and caretaker jobs at a variety of primary, secondary and special schools with great rates of pay.
In order for you to be a successful with our caretaker and site manager vacancies, you will need to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
