Teaching Assistant with Experience using Braille

We are currently looking for a Classroom Assistant to support a Yr 2 child who is blind . The child learns through the use of Braille and so the candidate would have to either have experience of using Braille or have an associated RNIB qualification. The position will be full time school hours from 8:30am-3:30pm and will require you to work closely with the Yr 2 teacher to covert the planning into appropriate lessons for the child's impairment. Based in Ashington.



We would particularly like to hear from candidates with their own transport but this is not essential.



This roles are on a temporary basis only and all applicants must be available for temporary work.
