Teaching assistant - Nottingham City Centre

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching assistant to work in various temporary contracts in the Nottingham City Centre area.



At the moment demand is high so we are seeking enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistants to accept the challenge of supply work. We have partnerships with a large number of schools all across the East Midlands area.





The successful candidate for this Teaching Assistant role should have a proven track record of supporting various aged students, be caring, friendly, passionate and enthusiastic about removing barriers to learning.





The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:



- Have experience of providing Numeracy and Literacy support

- Have proven experience working with young people in an educational setting

- Be committed, flexible and able to use your own initiative

- Working with the class teacher to support pupils access the curriculum and focus on their attainment/attendance.

- Observing and assessing pupils in line with their individual behaviour plans, pre-empting and intervening in pupils behaviour as required.

- Keeping records up to date and ensuring that other members of staff and parents/carers are informed on pupil progress.

- Have sound knowledge of the UK national curriculum





Must have or be willing to apply for an enhanced CRB disclosure. references will be obtained.
