Capita Education are currently recruiting on behalf of Northfleet School for Girls based in Gravesend (Kent) for a Teacher of History to start in September 2012.

Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for facilitating and encouraging learning which enables students to achieve high standards and to share and support the corporate responsibility for the well-being, education and discipline of all students.
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Qualities:
- Must hold QTS Teaching qualification or studying towards a PGCE (NQT Teacher)
- Knowledge and understanding of subject area (History)
- Principles and practices of effective learning and teaching
- Preparation of schemes of work and lessons
- A good role model for behaviours and attitudes
- Strong behavioural management
