SOFTWARE ENGINEER - FULL TIME AND PERMANENT



£28,725 - £29,580pa, 37 Hour



My customer is seeking to appoint an experienced Software Engineer to support the day to day operations within the ICT Services department.

With a logical and highly organised approach you will work with a wide variety of systems ranging from large databases to bespoke applications. The ability to work as part of a team is key, as is an eye for detail.

Educated to degree level in an IT related discipline you will have with experience of developing and maintaining software systems used by many thousands of users.

Experience of SQL Server and developing systems using the .NET framework are essential, as is familiarity with SharePoint based intranets.



Principal Duties



1.To support on-going development of College software systems.



2.To ensure accurate documentation is produced and maintained.



3.To produce and maintain reports based on accurate College data.



4.To identify and respond to the needs of internal and external users, providing timely responses as appropriate.



5.To be responsive to the needs of the department.
