Secondary SENCO Teacher/Coordinator



You will need to be strong on discipline, standards of achievement, providing the best for all students. This school has very high expectations of students and staff. You will need to be able to plan, prepare and communicate with individuals at all levels.



You must demonstrate a friendly and outgoing personality and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will need to have a teaching qualification in secondary education.

* Planning, organisation

* Co-ordination of teaching assistants

* Liaise with different departments, ie with Maths and English department and organise in-class support for lower ability classes

* Assess Reading and Spelling progress for each student on SEN register for Parents meetings

* Update staff information

* Implementation of school policies
