This is a full-time and long-term role, suitable for a well experienced and qualified teacher with SEN experience and qualifications to work with Autism or/and PMLD. The school achieves extremely well in its Ofsted reports because the standard of teaching is always of outstanding quality. In addition to this, the school has newly built and refurbished sensory room, equipment to provide the best care and support to pupils with special needs. Along with a team of suitably qualified and trained SEN specialists, the school offers training and career development opportunities for all its staff. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Year 6 and special needs in the UK, and planning experience for this year group as well as be familiar with IEPs and other SEN related procedures when supporting and teaching pupils with Autism and PMLD. References taken will need to reflect a successful teaching career specifically in SEN for the suitable candidate.
