Secondary School Teaching Assistant -Derbyshire

I am currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants who are able to work in various Derbyshire secondary schools. You will be required to work with children of various ages including those with Special Educational Needs.

You will be required to have sound knowledge of the Key Stage 3 & 4 curriculum.

The schools are looking for someone who is flexible, energetic and prepared to make a significant contribution to their team.



Typical work activities include:



helping children in all areas of the curriculum;

supporting in small group activities;

supporting towards achieving individual targets;

assisting with the preparation of the learning environment;

assuring a safe working environment;

assisting in the updating of pupil records;

providing extra support to children with special needs or those who speak English as an additional language





You must be prepared to work on a day to day/long term supply basis.
