Suitable candidates will have:
Genuine passion for teaching Science.
B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
Qualified Teacher status.
Exemplary subject knowledge.
Strong classroom management skills.
Experience and full understanding of the UK curriculum up to GCSE level.
Excellent references.
Ability to capture and engage students with different teaching methods.
Able to work closely with the children getting them organised.
A strong personality, great attitude and sense of authority.
Approachable and have a calm and communicative approach.
Able to both give and take direction.
Additional duties maybe required within certain roles including form tutoring, parents evenings etc.
