My client is looking for an Experienced Mathematics Teacher to work from October 2012 for a minimum of a term. The school is based in Islington (North London) and has received "Good with many outstanding features" by Ofsted and requires a bright and enthusiastic practitioner to maintain expectations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful, forward looking department.
You will be expected to potentially offer tailored induction program to NQTs, attend weekly peer to peer meetings, support staff in department and liaise with Senior Management about students progress and learning.
The right candidate should also be dedicated and enthusiastic with the ability to be creative, think on his/her feet, keep the pupils engaged and pass on his/her knowledge and passion for the subject.
Any additional subjects that you can teach will obviously be a distinct advantage.
To be considered you must:
- Be a able to teach up to KS3/4, ideally KS5
- Have some managerial experience
- Have QTS status and be registered with the GTC
- Be able to commute there quickly
- Be confident and have a positive approach
- Have relevant teaching qualifications
- Have the right to work in the UK
- 2 professional teaching references from within the last 2 years
- CRB checked (or willing to apply for one via Capita Education)
