Nursery Room Leader

Capita Education Resourcing (CER) is the first choice for Nurseries in Berkshire and the surrounding areas. The demands for Nursery Nurses are so high that we urgently require more. In particular, there are currently two vacancies for a qualified and experienced room leader.



The main responsibilities of the role include:



Key Responsibilities



* To develop relationships with children, their parents and other members of staff

* To be able to lead and develop a team and plan activities

* To create and maintain a warm, caring, stimulation environment that together with encouragement will ensure the development of each child

* To have responsibility for key children in a designated area

* To implement and promote all Trust and Nursery Policies: for example, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety and the Children Act.

* To support all the Co-ordinators, e.g. S.E.N.Co, Equal Opportunities Co-ordinator in their duties

* Recognise and meet, at all times, the needs of each child and their family as individuals

* Assist in the training of all students

* Assist in the selection and maintenance of toys and equipment

* To provide healthy and nutritious snacks throughout the day



Ideal candidates will be punctual, professional, and passionate about teaching and hold a relevant qualification.
