Nursery Nurse, Challenging behaviour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursery Nurse to work in a busy Children Centre working closely with challenging and underprivileged children with challenging behaviour, this role is set to commence in late May 2012.



Candidates will need to be strong with challenging behaviour and be prepared to work with children from any age between 0-5.



The main responsibilities of this role include:



Developing relationships with children, their parents and other members of staff. Creating and maintaining a warm, caring, stimulating environment that together with encouragement will ensure the development of each child;



Providing the highest levels of child care within the children's centre and to ensure that each child is treated as an individual and that their development needs are met on an ongoing basis;



To follow all guidelines concerning policy and procedures, including health and safety, working Practices and standards of care and development. You should also have a good knowledge of child protection.



Ideal candidates will be punctual, professional, and passionate about teaching and should hold an NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
