A large South Wales High School, with a great reputation, is looking for an NQT or QTS Food Technology Teacher, to work in the Food Technology department on a day to day basis with a view to a long term placement. The school is one of the fastest developing schools in South Wales, evident in its improving exam results. The Headteacher is always looking for talented teachers, to help lead the schools improving reputation. There is a great support system within the school for newly qualified teachers to further develop and experienced teachers to apply their knowledge to the benefit of the school. The Food Technology department is thriving, driven by the pupils want to learn.

*NQT or QTS Food Technology teacher with a real passion for the subject

*Ability to teach Key Stage 3, 4 and 5

*Effective classroom management, with the ability to implement successful strategies to create order and deal with challenges

*Demonstrate knowledge and teaching methods, which in turn will make Food Technology fun, inspiring and allow development of key skills

*Great communication skills and with the ability to think on your feet, with regards to problem solving
