A large new build school in Somerset are looking to take on NQT/QTS Geography Teachers on a day to day basis with the possibility of long term opportunities. It is a rural school near Taunton and is easily accessible from the M5. There is a great working atmosphere in the school and candidates that have been sent there in the past always ask to go back if there is the opportunity to do so. The Head Teacher insists that standards are always kept high both by the pupils and by the staff making the school an enjoyable yet stretching place to work as standards are so high. There are great support structures in place for day to day staff making any situation that arises easy to deal with. This is one of the top schools in Somerset and would teach an NQT valuable skills while also offering the more experienced teacher the chance to grow and learn new techniques.

To become part of the capita supply team at this lovely Secondary School you will be:-

*An NQT or QTS Teacher with experience of the GCSE Curriculum

*Have a passion for geography.

*Able to demonstrate recent KS3+KS4 experience

*The ability to deliver A-Level would be advantageous due to the thriving sixth form at the school.

*Creative and innovative approach to learning

*Experience of supervising field trips would also be looked upon favourably.
