Capita Education is looking for Maths Teacher to work in a large multicultural secondary school in Birmingham. We are looking for a Maths teacher to teach across KS3 - KS4 to start after the Summer holidays. This post will be for a minimum of one term. They have a very supportive system within the school for all staff, trying to consistently promote a positive working environment. The individual that will suit this post will have strong classroom management and have a dedicated, proactive approach to teaching with the passion to make a real contribution to the pupils and school as well as working well as part of a team.
The skills we require are:
* Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE or Cert Ed
* Excellent communication skills with both pupils and colleagues
* At least 6 months experience working within UK schools
* Ability to motivate and inspire pupils in their education
* Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
* Strong Classroom Management
* Willingness to work as part of a team
Main duties will involve:
* Teaching Maths up to GCSE level, A Level would be an advantage
* Lesson planning, marking all work, get involved in departmental meetings and possibly act as a Form Tutor
* Communicate at all levels
* Participate in parents evenings
* Reporting in line with the schools procedures
