Maths Lecturer/Course Leader

In this role, you will use a range of diverse learning and teaching strategies and develop methods using technology that will encourage independent learning. Through the use of challenging individual targets and learning plans, you will be required to ensure that student achievement is optimised. You will also support students in overcoming any difficulties they experience during their studies. As part of your role, you will produce lesson plans and a variety of creative resources that will enable your students to take part in learning activities. To ensure their success, you will be required to closely track and monitor their achievements.



You will hold a teaching qualification, a related degree and you will have gained experience in a post 16 learning environment. You will also have outstanding communication skills to enable you to deliver high standards of teaching and learning from the outset. A proven track record of delivering effective teaching and assessment in this area is essential to the post. You will receive remission hours for your course leader responsibilities.
