Learning Support Assistants



To provide support to a diverse range of students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities on mainstream and vocational courses in a further education setting.



Strong communication skills combined with the ability to develop rapport and understanding with students are essential. You will hold a Level 3 qualification or higher, with GCSE Maths and English at grades A*-C. Previous experience is essential with learners ages 16+



Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, satisfactory references and sight of original qualifications.



Successful applicants will be placed onto a register of Support Workers and as and when support hours become available from September 2012. We will have a wide range of hours and contracts available.
