Would you like to support young people in achieving their educational aims?
We are currently looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants for various opportunities starting in September 2010. You will be supporting students on mainstream / vocational courses; they may have a range of learning difficulties or physical disabilities (Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, BESD, MLD, PMLD, SLD, SLCN and SpLD)and you must be prepared to provide personal care where necessary.
We are seeking to appoint skilled individuals with experience of supporting learners with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. You will have strong literacy and numeracy skills, a positive attitude and a strong commitment to professional and inclusive working Practices. You will need to be available between the college working hours of 8.30am and 5pm but be flexible to cover hours out of these times.
If you have 12 months experience in supporting students with Learning difficulties in a academic setting, hold a minimum of Level 2 in Literacy & Numeracy (GCSE Grade C minimum) and are available for short or long term opportunities starting in September then we would like to hear from you.
All positions are subject to satisfactory references and a Enhanced CRB Check. We will also need to see original certificates for English and Maths awards.
