Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

My client is a Primary School within Nottingham City and they're currently looking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant covering within their KS2 unit.



You will be required to support a mixture of children with a variety of needs working with them on a 1-2-1 basis both in and out of the classroom, you must of had previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant. You will be required to support low ability children in small groups with their numeracy and literacy.



The desired candidate will have previous experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and a sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum (particularly Years 5/6).

Main Duties will include;

- supporting children on a 1-2-1 basis

- helping children towards their individual IEP's

- acting as a support to the teacher when working in a group setting

- providing whole classroom support within a Year 5/6 class.



Candidates must be available full time for a September start.
