Hourly Paid Communication Support Workers



We have a wide range of hourly paid posts available for suitably qualified and experienced Communication Support Workers including regular positions supporting particular students, and some flexible sessional/cover positions to be used as and when required.



You will be required to provide communication and interpretation support to students with severe hearing impairments; this will include note taking, lip reading and sign language.



The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and hold a BSL certificate at level 3 or above. Proven experience of working with students with hearing impairments is essential



Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, satisfactory references and sight of original qualifications.



Successful applicants will be placed onto a register of Support Workers and as and when support hours become available from September 2012. We will have a wide range of hours and contracts available.
