We currently have a vacancy in a primary age hearing impaired unit based in East London and are requiring a specialist hearing impaired teacher to work for at least 1 term. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 years teaching in a hearing impaired capacity and hold BSL Level 2 as a minimum. Along with this you will need to have completed your PGCE or holds QTS.
You will be a sympathetic teacher will Lot's of enthusiasm, energy and creative ideas to keep the children focused on work and to enjoy everyday school life. Class sizes can vary from 5-10 children.
This is a lovely school that has extremely supportive staff who are always willing to help out when needed, however in return they expect flexibility and dedication.
All applicants will need to have a current enhanced CRB dated within the last 3 years. If from overseas and been living in the UK less than 5 years then a police check will also be needed from your home country.
