DT Teacher

An experienced DT Teacher is required to work in an East London school, you must be a qualified Teacher of DT and be able to teach up to KS4. You must have 'Qualified Teacher Status'.



You Must be a strong practitioner with relevant, recent teaching experience and subject knowledge. The school is looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years recent UK experience. You will be covering all aspects of DT, but mainly focusing on resistant materials and some textiles.



The school is smaller than average and it provides a satisfactory and improving standard of education. Students enter the school with standards that are a little below average and leave with standards that are now broadly average, representing satisfactory achievement. Over the last three years the proportion of students gaining five GCSE passes at grades A* to C has risen from 41% to 50%.
