Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor Urgently Required



We require a lively, enthusiastic individual to join a us in the Derby area as we have schools looking to recruit Cover Supervisors to start immediately.



In these positions you will be working under the guidance of teaching staff implementing work programmes with whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. All potential Cover Supervisors will be required to have around 8 weeks experience of leading a group of children in an educational, sporting or Youth group environment etc.



Responsibilities include;

-Supervising work that has been set and assisting pupils to undertake the activities set.

- Managing the behaviour of pupils and generating a positive learning experience for all.

- Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher reporting back as appropriate using the agreed referral procedures within the school.



You must hold one of the following qualifications: A Degree, a PGCE in FE, Overseas Teaching Qualification or a sports qualification. Any of these would be suitable for this role.

Experience of leading a group of children in an educational, sporting or Youth group environment etc would be preferred.
