CLASS TEACHER - EARLY YEARS SPECIALIST
SALARY: MPS/UPS + SEN ALLOWANCE (depending on experience and expertise)

Capita Education is currently working in partnership with the Milestone School based in New Ash Green (Kent) for a Class Teacher Early Years Specialist to start as soon as possible.
The Milestone School is a specialist school for children aged between 2-19 years with profound, severe and complex learning difficulties. With 223 full time places on roll, the School is managed by a very supportive Head Teacher which is reflected in their latest Ofsted inspection rated as Excellent/Good.
The Early Year's provision delivers a structured routine within the Foundation Stage curriculum for the Early Years Centre in Longfield; three miles distance from the main site. The Early Year's classes at Milestone School provide a warm and welcoming environment for the children and endeavour to make the transition from home to school an enjoyable experience.
The Class Teacher will be responsible for writing and reviewing IEP's for a class group, setting realistic, achievable, targets agreed by parents and carers. You will be required to maintain, plan, assess and record in accordance with school policy and pupils' progress and attainment.
The successful applicant must hold QTS and able to teach English up-to KS5 and have the ability to motivate and engage colleagues and students at all levels. Possess the ability to demonstrate effective teaching and learning in any key stage, monitoring, evaluating and assessing pupils' achievement and attainment
