ASD Teacher - temp

This role is based withing a specialist independent school in South West London, Sutton. The school cares for a small number of secondary education age students who are on the ASD spectrum. This specific site cares for KS3 and KS4 lower functioning classes who will not sit GCSE exams. This a temporary role for a strong teacher with passion and determination to provide a great learning experience for SEN students.



The ideal candidate can be primary or secondary trained, but it is essential that they have a thorough understanding of ASD and Asperger's Syndrome. The role is to teach a KS3 class of mixed ability. There are two teaching assistants in the class and between 5 and 7 students some of them non-verbal.
