Access Assistants

Access Assistants Required for various temporary contracts starting in September 2012.



We are currently looking for experienced Access Assistants to join our supply register for potential opportunities in September 2012 for the Leeds / Kirklees Area.



As an Access Assistant you will provide mobility assistance for students, assist with personal care and also assist both in the classroom and outside the classroom as necessary ( eg Library / Canteen). You will offer buddy support for students with difficulties relating to mental health.



The successful candidate will have experience of supporting students in education and hold a minimum of ones years experience of personal care. Literacy and numeracy qualifications at level two will be required (GCSE Grade C English & Maths acceptable). Additional awards in Hoist, Manual Handling, Learner Support will be a strict advantage



Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, satisfactory references and sight of original qualifications.
