| If you are looking for a home or private tutor, then your first step is to call our dedicated tutor line. This is manned by an extremely experienced team who will take a brief outline of your needs. We will then provide a specific consultant based on your location and whether your child is primary, secondary or has specific special needs.
Our consultants will then contact you within 48 hours to discuss in detail your child’s needs and the tuition services to be provided. They will want to know not just educational requirements, but to get some understanding on your child’s personality and confidence. They will then contact tutors they feel are matched to your child and provide you with suitable tutoring services. Our consultant will provide you with a CV and profile for the tutor put forward, including feedback received from other parents or schools on the particular tutor.

Unlike other tutoring agencies, our tutors are not self employed. We employ them on your behalf and pay them an hourly fee. We have a minimum block of six sessions which fit into most school terms, but we are happy to provide discounts for longer bookings.
During the first session, the tutor will complete an assessment and propose an individual learning plan for your child which will outline for you what they will focus on and the goals for the period you require. It is usual however for this plan to be flexible as your child may move through quicker than anticipated, or require additional time on a particular area. At the end of each session, the tutor will give you feedback on the progress made.
We insist for your protection, and that of our tutors, that there is a responsible adult present for all sessions. This does not mean you need to sit with the tutor and your child, though some parents appreciate doing so, but you do need to be in the house for the full session.
You will receive a feedback form for your tutor. We would ask you please to complete this. Feedback received from other parents will have helped us to specifically match your tutor with your child. Without it we cannot do our jobs as well as we would like to.
