Contract and permanent exam marker jobs

Exam markers are an integral part of a school’s operation and help to ensure that students’ work is correctly and impartially graded in accordance with a firmly defined marking scheme. At Capita we have a range of permanent, part-time or contract exam marking jobs available across the UK.

Requirements for exam marking jobs

We are looking for individuals who have had past experience in marking papers and are familiar with the National Curriculum standards and procedures. You are expected to be working either as an external marker or be employed on fixed-term contracts for the duration of the exam season, but the terms of this arrangement depends on each educational institution. We can offer exam marking jobs at a variety of primary, secondary and special schools with great rates of pay.

In order for you to apply for exam marker vacancies, you will need to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
